Over the past few years, I have worked as a senior research assistant in higher education, focusing on the intersection of AI and gamification. In 2024, I took up a position at the University of Applied Sciences in Magdeburg-Stendal, where I am exploring the potential of culture and creative industries for socio-ecological transformation in rural landscapes. Actually I am thinking to do a PhD about performative journalism and forms of participatory media.

I mainly teach in the field of communication and media sciences and have been doing that for more than ten years in Germany and Switzerland. Trained in the fields of literature and educational sciences I am an interdisciplinary scholar with interests in transdisciplinary aspects. In 2022 I worked as a freelance editorial assistant for Technisches Universität Berlin on the Handbook of Transdisciplinary Learning.
